Because the eyes play a significant role in daily life, normal vision occurs when light from an object passes through the cornea and the lens of the eye, then focuses on the retina. The retina then sends the image, in the form of electrical waves, to the brain to interpret the image we see. If the image is focused clearly on the retina, we will see it sharply. However, if the light is not properly focused on the retina, it will result in visual impairment.
